In light of the continuing global health concerns, the EPHAR Executive Committee have taken a difficult decision to postpone the 8th European Congress of Pharmacology 2021 to a later date again. Since the situation is developing unfavourably, the spring date is not promising for us to meet at EPHAR congress.

The new date is 5–8 December 2021. The online registration will be re-opened on 3 May 2021.

*Applicants must be full-time students at the time of the Congress and need to upload their valid student ID card scanned from both sides or a letter from their university department as a proof of their student status. Post doctorate students are not eligible for this rate.

Registration fees include 21% VAT.

Note: Payments must be received by the corresponding deadlines (early or standard), otherwise the subsequent rate will be automatically applied.

The Delegate registration fee includes:

  • Access to all sessions and Exhibition
  • Name badge, congress bag
  • One ticket to Opening Ceremony

The Student registration fee includes:

  • Access to all sessions and Exhibition
  • Name badge, congress bag
  • One ticket to Opening Ceremony
  • One ticket to Student & Young Researchers night

How to register

To register for the Congress, please fill in the Online Registration Form

First fill in the Personal Data Form and continue with registration by choosing the registration fee. During the registration process, you will receive a password. Your password is the same for all online forms (registration, accommodation).

For group registration (more than 10 participants) please contact the Congress Secretariat at email ad­dress

Methods of payment

Registration fees must be paid in EUR by one of the following methods:

1. Credit or Debit Card

For credit or debit card payments, please use the Online Payment System. The system is accessible with the password that you received upon registration. The system accepts the following credit/debit cards MasterCard/Euro­card, Visa and Diners Club.

2. Bank Transfer

The bank details including the 10-digit variable symbol will be automatically sent to your email address after submitting the on-line form. Please note that payments without this variable symbol will not be identified and the registration will not be confirmed.

Please note that bank transfer payments will only be accepted by 15 March 2021 only. After this date only payments by credit/debit cards will be accepted using the Online Payment System.

All bank transfer amounts should be minus bank charges. Any banking fees accrued from the transfer is the responsibility of each party.

Cancellations and refunds

The Congress Secretariat must be notified in writing by email ( or fax (+420 284 001 448) in the event of the cancellation of the registration. Cancellation by phone call will not be accepted. The appropriate refunds will be made after the Congress.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

Cancellations received Refund
before 23 January 2021: full refund of the registration fee, handling fee of 30 EUR will be deducted
from 24 January to 22 February 2021: 50 % of the registration fee
from 23 February 2021: no refund

In case of any change in registration, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

In case of cancellation of the event due to force majeure, GUARANT International reserves the right to charge a 30 EUR handling fee.

Name change

If you are prevented from attending, you will be given the opportunity to send a colleague in your place. Name changes should be reported in writing to the Congress Secretariat. A handling fee of 30 EUR will be charged for each name change. No name change will be possible after 28 February 2021.

Visa requirements

Invitation letters for visa purposes can only be sent to participants who have completed the registration process. Further information regarding visa requirements can be found here.
